Shahrukh and Saif are going to host 55th Filmfare Awards tonight. The ceremony would also be seeing the presence of other stars like Retish Deshmukh, Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif etc.
After hosting the 53rd Filmfare Awards, the two Khans will team up again. This is the fourth year that they are going to delight people together.

There were many speculations over the hosts’ finalization before. However, everything came to an end when Shahrukh wrote on Twitter: “have to head now for filmfare rehearsals. looong nite ahead. hope saif doesnt fall asleep.”
If Shahrukh is hosting a show, wit and sarcasm has to be in the air.
“Shah Rukh is very clear that he will make fun of people present. But it’s never nasty or personal. And this year too, is adding his own jokes and one liners to the act,” a source said.
SRK has also been working hard on memorizing the monologues provided to him amidst hectic schedule.
The source said, “He’s been so busy he has not had time to prepare for the award night. Normally, by now in session for writers who are doing and are well on your way to memorizing the monologue and stuff. But he only had the first session with the writers last night.”
The writer of the script is the stand-up comedian Vir Das.
Last to last year, it was King Khan and Chhote Nawab on-stage, just in towels and with face pack on their faces. Nevertheless, this time, it is supposed to be something fresh and very entertaining.
Starry performances
Bedazzling performances by Shahrukh himself along with other celebs like Kareena and Shahid would be major attractions.
“SRK was busy practising Korbo Lorbo Jeetbo, his KKR anthem at Yash Raj on Thursday and is planning to rope in one of his brightest knights Sourav Ganguly to do a bit of a jiggy in the act too,” said the source who witnessed SRK’s rehearsal.
Shahid would be seen honoring Michael Jackson with dancing on “This Is It,” whereas Kareena would shake her leg on couple of hit songs of her movies.
The much-coveted event will be held at Yash Raj Studios in Mumbai. With 111 nomination categories featured, the whole of film industry would be present to grace the occasion.
