Marie Osmond is in seclusion following the suicide death of her 18-year-old son, Michael Blosil.

Marie, 50, "is finding solace in her faith and her family," her pal, Entertainment Tonight anchor Mary Hart, said on CBS' The Early Show Monday. "And I find tremendous grace in her own words: 'I really believe that it's the lows that make us who we are. It's not the success. It's how we handle all that.'

"You can bet she has loving arms around her," added Hart. "The Osmonds are a very close-knit family and, in times of loss or tragedy, they support each other and really band together as a family, and in love."

Before jumping from the eighth floor of his 15-story L.A. apartment building Friday, Osmond's son -- a student at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in L.A. -- penned a suicide note telling loved ones that he had lost all hope. According to reports, he stated that he felt he had no friends and did not fit in.
