Ben Roethlisberger Accused of Assault…Again

The Pittsburgh Steelers’ quarterback “Big Ben” Roethlisberger has been accused of sexual assault…again. This is not the first time that the NFL star has been the target of these types of accusations.

Roethlisberger maintains that he is innocent, and that he did not sexually assault anyone. This time, the allegations are coming from a club in Georgia, where a victim describing Roethlisberger claimed to have been sexually assaulted.

Big Ben was also accused of rape in previous months. A Reno, Nevada resident claimed that the quarterback raped her. She filed a civil suit against the NFL star.

Ben is committed to fighting the previous rape claims, and a statement issued today indicated that the allegations made at a Georgia nightclub had questionable motives. After all, he’s previously been accused.

Reports indicate that the accusations were dismissed after a preliminary investigation, but the NFL and authorities are not taking any chances.

There are undoubtedly many that think that Roethlisberger is up to something, whereas an equal amount support his innocence claims. Of course, there are many individuals out there that would love to try to take advantage of a situation – such as Roethlisberger’s tainted name – for personal gain.

That being said, the allegations need to be taken very seriously. Police and the NFL are gathering evidence regarding the claim. If the accusations are true, “Big Ben” could very well lose everything he has.
