On The Wings of Love Jeffrey Osborne


States and L.T.D’s former main singer was born on 9th of March 1948 in Providence, Rhode Island. He was the youngest kid of their parents who had 12 children. He belonged to a musical family. There are six sisters and five brothers of Osborne and some of his sisters and brothers adopted the music as their career.

The musical career of Jeffrey Osborne was started in 1970 when a local band “Love Men Ltd.” was joined by him. Later on the name of this band changed to “L.T.D”. Several single songs like “Holding On (When Love Is Gone”, “Love Ballad”, “Concentrate On You” and “(Every Time I Turn Around) Back in Love Again” which were hit and reached to top positions on the charts.

Jeffrey Osborne started his career being a drummer but then later on he changed his position being a main vocalist. In the end of 1980, Osborne left his initial band “L.T.D” and moved to solo career. He achieved a lot of success in his solo career and five of his albums got platinum and gold status. His self titled album which was also his solo debut was released in 1982.

Two super hit singles “I Really Don’t Need No Light” and “On the Wings of Love” were also included in this debut album. Jeffrey Osborne appeared in the season finale of “The Bachelor (a notorious series of the television)” on 1st of March 2010 and sung “On the Wings of Love” which was one of his hit singles while Jake Pavelka (Bachelor) danced with Vienna Girardi (his new fiancé) on the dance floor.
